All advertisements are accepted by villagefetes.co.uk on the express condition that the Advertiser
guarantees his advertisement does not contravene the Trades Descriptions Act, 1968, the Sex Discrimination Act, 1976, or The
Business Advertisements (Disclosure) Order, 1977. |

purchasing adverts all advertisers accept that they are
purchasing advertising space on villagefetes.co.uk only, artwork and design for
boxes are not charged for and therefore all advertising box artwork will remain the property of
villagefetes.co.uk unless designed by the company or individual
advertising. Therefore all artwork can not
be resold, distributed or copied to other websites and
remains individual to the adverts on villagefetes.co.uk,
however you may purchase the artwork if needed. To view

| villagefetes.co.uk reserve the right to decline any copy of artwork which they may not approve whether an order has been accepted or not.
Every care is taken to ensure prompt insertion of all advertisements but guarantee of insertion cannot be given. |

inaccuracies in the publishing of any advertisement or for any
circumstances arising there from. It is the responsibility of the Advertiser to notify
villagefetes.co.uk of any error immediately it appears. |

| villagefetes.co.uk reserve the right to refuse any application for an advertisement or any advertisement on such grounds as they think fit.
villagefetes.co.uk reserves the right to republish any advertisement in electronic as well as
printed format without seeking the advertiser's permission. |

Artwork supplied by you for adverts or
website design
All artwork supplied by you for any
adverts on villagefetes or websites created
by villagefetes must be your own, or you
have permission to use such artwork. If we
are notified that we have created
advertisements using artwork from non
legitimate sources, such as copying images
from websites, by either you or the legal
owner of the artwork we shall remove the
advert image box or, close the website
immediately until the artwork is replaced.
Villagefetes will charge for any corrections
at our normal hourly rate and where any
legal action has involved villagefetes.co.uk
legal department the full cost will be
passed on to the offending company or
individual.

Directory
advertisements
All accounts must
be paid in full before advert boxes are linked to
advertisers websites and contact details are entered into
advertisements. Any offers, discounts or reductions agreed will only be available for 28 days from the date of this invoice.
All advertisement entries will run for twelve months from
the 1st day of the following month after payment has been received
and cleared through our bank.
villagefetes.co.uk expects advertisers to keep their
contact details up to date, therefore villagefetes will
not be liable to any losses incurred due to customers not
being able to contact the advertiser, villagefetes.co.uk
will not charge for updating details. |

Used
items advertisements
The Business Advertisements (Disclosure) Order 1977
The above order which took effect on 1st January 1978, requires all advertisers seeking to sell goods in the course of business to make that fact clear. Consumers should
be able to tell whether an advertisement relates co a sale by a trader or private seller.
Advertisements from traders should therefore indicate this clearly if necessary by the addition of the words
"
trader" or "business" to their advertisement.
All
villagefetes items for sale adverts will
contain in the heading the following indicators
"(P)"
for private seller or "(T)"
for trade seller.
Photos provided for adverts are
non-returnable unless a stamped, self
address envelope is provided. All adverts
will run in blocks of 1 calendar month from
the date payment is received.
Free adverts
All free adverts must display a sale
price of below £1000 to qualify. Adverts
with sale prices over this figure will be
required to pay our standard rate and will
not be included until payment is received.
Free adverts will only run for 1 calendar month and
must be resubmitted via the website form or
email only after each advert expires.
villagefetes will not except telephone calls
for free advert placing or renewals.
Individuals are limited to a maximum of
24 free adverts per year.
By submitting the items for sale forms
confirms that you agree to and understand
the above terms and conditions. |

rates
Advertising rates are subject to revision and the right is reserved to vary contract terms and conditions. |

VAT on Advertising
All advertisements on villagefetes.co.uk will be charged inclusive of
17.5% VAT. |

Cancellation
and refunds
Where
villagefetes.co.uk
calls potential advertisers (cold call) to
advertise we provide a 7 working day cooling off period with full money back guarantee from the date of
invoice. If you wish to cancel your order for any reason we must receive your cancellation in either written letter, fax or email. Telephone cancellations are not acceptable under the Consumer Protection
regulations. Please note the cooling off period does not apply to those customers who take out advertising in
conjunction with advertising promotions on our other websites or where advertisers are provided with leads and contacts for services
and products from us.
Where the advertiser has independently
taken out advertising via telephone,
email, post or via a form on
villagefetes.co.uk adverts may be cancelled
prior to payment after which no payments
will be refunded. |
