Deciding what type of foods to sell
This is where the real fun begins, deciding which food products your new

Creating a manageable menu from scratch
You don't need a huge amount of different food products to put together a fairly
good menu. From the basic food items of burger buns, hotdog rolls, jumbo
sausages, burgers, rindless back bacon, eggs and cheese slices you can put together a
variety of simple saleable fast food menu items.
1. Basic burger (burger and bun)
2. Cheeseburger (burger, cheese slice and bun)
3. Jumbo hot dog (jumbo sausage and hotdog roll)
4. Bacon roll (2 rashers bacon, burger bun or hotdog roll)
5. Bacon and egg roll (2 rashers bacon, 1 egg and burger bun)
6. Sausage and egg roll (jumbo sausage flowered, burger bun, 1 egg)
7. Breakfast roll (jumbo sausage flowered, 2 bacon, burger bun, 1 egg)
As you can see from the examples above you can carry on combining items to
create your menu. It's not a healthy eaters menu but can be easily adapted to a
healthy menu by using the same principal of selecting no more than ten basic
food items. Try changing burgers with chicken breast, burger buns with granary
rolls, cheese and eggs with fresh salad or salsa sauce. |
