Thank you for allowing me to introduce my company AK Covers and myself. My name is Keiron Rushton and I run a company specialising in custom-made PVC banners, covers and signage from Blackpool in Lancashire. I utilise my 17 years of high frequency welding experience within the cover-making trade to provide a service creating uniquely customised products for a varied customer base.

My main reason for contacting you in this way is to bring your attention to a range of items that I feel may compliment or enhance your current product range. I have been in the business of producing custom-made curtains and valances for the catering trade for nearly twenty years and are looking to promote this unique market by inviting and fostering new business from outside my local area. I have attached photographs that show examples of my work that are currently being utilised on a variety of catering trailers around the country.

About our products
If these products are something that maybe you have not considered before I would like to assure you that although they do make the catering trailers stand out from the crowd with people tending to gravitate towards the colour and design they most definitely do have a practical purpose. The valances and curtains are made from heavy duty PVC in non-fading colours, which makes them durable in all weathers. The side curtains are particularly valuable in providing protection from wind, rain and sun for both the customer and the vendor.

The valances and curtains are easy to clean and can be wiped down with a wet cloth and light detergent, which is particularly useful for a trailer situated in a muddy field. All products are easily detachable. I use fixings such as press-studs (easily fixed to trailer using either rivets or self tapping screws), turn buttons, eyelets, Velcro (weldable or adhesive) and these can be adapted depending on the customer requirements.

All covers and valances are manufactured using high frequency welds, rather than stitching for strength and durability. I stock a wide range of colours in heavy duty PVC for covers and valances with co-ordinating colours in unsupported PVC for the valance trims, so I am able to successfully compliment any style of trailer to really make it stand out from the crowd.

Colours and styles
Pantone colours can be matched precisely to large amount of materials Trims I use three different style trims (castellated, Fleur de Lys & the straight trim /which can also be matched to the trim where reinforcements are used) Pricing is charged on a per foot basis or individual sets at a quantity ( only when items are ordered in multiples/bulk orders)

Measuring the items are measured 1" allowance on wheel trims & the sides of the curtains (diagrams are available) valances are to size with a given 7" drop as standard On side blinds two press studs are already in place on the inside of the length to allow for the gas valve of the hatch ( the customer just cuts a piece off the length usually about 1" in diameter) Also as well as valances & curtains for the catering van industry I also supply advertising banners, barrow covers, BBQ covers, standard trailer covers, market stall covers etc €€€
