    Does this printer print on 250 300 gsm card stock
    I need a printer to be able to make greeting cards
    • Having looked on HP it takes the following paper sizes and weights
      Media types Paper (bond, brochure, coloured, glossy, heavy, letterhead, light, photo, plain, preprinted, prepunched, recycled, rough), transparencies, labels, envelopes, cardstock
      Media weights, supported ADF 60 to 90 g/m²
      Media weight, supported 60 to 163 g/m² (Uncoated/Matte, recommended), however up to 175 g/m² Postcards and 200 g/m² HP Matte is allowed in the driver

    Does this printer come with toner cartridges included
    How many sheets of paper can you print on average from life of toner cartridge
    • Any printer does come with a set up of start up cartridges, which are designed to get you up and printing but do not last all that long. Once one of them does need replacing, you will need the replace the set.

    Answer to previous question confusing.
    you answered the last question by saying "Once one of them does need replacing, you will need to replace the set". according to the HP manual these are all individual toner cartridges, so why do you need to replace the full set? this sounds very uneconomical in a laser-jet and would steer me away from purchising it this is true?
    • With any new printer, the start up toners are designed to get you up and running and not do much more than this. The chips and the way they are designed, are not always compatible when using a new toner, so we advise that once one does need replacing it is worth replacing the set. Some printers we do find that you can replace individual toners and they still work a long side the start up cartridges but it is not something we can guarantee.

    Can this scan using the ADS as I need automatic duplex scanning
    I need to scan a two page document into a pdf document using the automatic document feed
    • Yes it can do that. Please see below info for this printer:

Excellent Customer Service

I bought a new printer from The Cartridge People (model HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw A4 Colour Multifunction Laser Printer (Wireless)) as I have always found the company to be cheap and quick at delivering print cartridges. If truthful I did shop around for the HP printer and found them one of the cheapest. The printer was delivered within 2 days and I got to work setting it up in the evening. However, whatever I did I couldn't get it to print on both sides, in desperation I messaged the company through their website for help.The following morning I received a message back from Stephen giving me information on how to set the printer up for 2 sided printing as a default. And it worked! I have to say I am really impressed with the customer care and quick response I have been given by Stephen and the general excellent reliable service they have given me over the years. I will definitely only now deal with The Cartridge People for all my printing needs.
