    Canon Pixma MG5550 and Canon Pixma TS6350 cartridges inter-changeable?
    My old Canon Pixma MG5550 has just expired so I have now got a new Canon Pixma TS6350.

    The Cartridge People Ink cartridges I have for both these printers look identical. E.g. is PGI-550XL looks same as PGI-580XXL. Are they interchangeable?
    • I'm afraid not, your Canon Pixma TS6350 requires the 580/581 series cartridges and the 550/551 series cartridges will not work in your new printer

Compatible cartridges

I ordered canon cartridges but having spoken with cartridge people they recommended their own compatible cartridges I was concerned that they wouldn’t perform but they work perfectly

OK so far...

Ink cartridges arrived in good time and condition. They fitted perfectly and the printer, so far, seems happy to have them.

From Sceptical to Converted

Years ago I experienced a very unsatisfactory experience using Compatible Inks. Not with the Cartridge People I hasten to say but the experience was bad enough to put me off using Compatible inks ever again. So I place an order for Canon Inks knowing that they would not let me down. The Sales Person at Cartridge People telephoned me and asked if I'd like to replace the Canon order with a double order of Compatibles. I explained what had happend in the past but did promise to use compatibles the next time I purchased inks. I did that and they duly arrived. I'm now using the compatibles and I have to say I wouldn't know that they were in any way different to the Canon versions! They are performing perfectly in every way and at less the half the price of the Canon inks! Amazing. Thank you Cartridge People. In every way you are an exceptional supplier. Excellent products that arrive before the promised delivery date and all at a price that makes buyimg from you so attractive. May you prosper and thrive.

So far so good

I originally bought canon cartridges but was contacted by the cartridge people and was convinced to try out their ‘canon compatible’ ink cartridges which I was assured were the same at the canon ones. I decided to give them ago. So far I’ve printed 2 prints and compared them to previous prints (using canon cartridges). 1 was like for like I could not tell the difference. The other there was a very tad difference in the colour but not massively noticeable so I will for the time being continue to use these.

Compatible Canon - They Are actually compatible !

I placed an order online for original Canon cartridges - within a few moments someone from Cartridge People had called me up and explained that they do a compatible own brand version, with fuller ink tanks. Having used ‘compatible’ versions form other companies I was very sceptical of using anything other than original cartridges but the lady guaranteed that their cartridges would work and would not be rejected by my printer. For the same price she would be sending me, 2 x the quantity of Cartridge People inks and a free box of A4 paper. Fingers crossed …….Hey presto they worked ! Not one complaint from me or my printer - Thank you very much Cartridge People - You saved me money and stress. I will be reordering with you again.
