    great printer but only works on my old mac, not my os 11

    What does the finished label look like?
    Is the backing clear or what? Why don't you advertise pictures of the label on various surfaces?
    • The picture on our site is from the offical sources for the printer.

      I've looked for examples for you to look at and, even on the Brother website, they do not show this?

      I would recommend that you call Brother directly on 0333 777 4444 and ask them if they can send you any images directly.

    • It depends on which roll of tape you use
      it uses the standard TZe tape range,

      The roll that comes in the box is Black on White background,
      but you can get them in various colour combinations including black on clear

    • look up the TZe tapes up to 24mm wide

      there are loads of colours/and types
      eg not only black on white, but white on black
      and also yellow/blue/green/red/clear etc etc
      and in widths like 6,9,12,18 or 24mm

    Can this printer print on Brother stencil ribbons used for etching?

Simple, Easy & Ontime

Really simple to use the site and find relative consumables. It was competitively priced and delivered on time. Not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. But the process was excellent and simple.

Works Perfectly

I've been using handheld Brother TZ labellers for a while and while they are useful, the restriction on precise formatting and especially symbols is sometimes frustrating so I decided to try one of these. I'm on Windows 10 and all the software installed without a hitch. From unpackaging to first label print was less than 30 mins. I wish I'd gone down this route for labelling ages ago, it is so much easier to type on a proper keyboard you get total flexibility of text size and layout. There is a huge array of symbols to choose from in the supplied software, but best if all you can add any image you have on your PC or can find from anywhere on the net.

Compact, well built and easy to use

The printer is great. It prints clearly and quickly. Works with windows 11 and drivers were already on the system. Great product and a happy customer.

Casssette-based compact labeller excellent for electronic projects and stock control

Works well; very good Brother PTouch Editor software; large range of high-quality TZe labels in large range of sizes 3.5mm to 24mm wide, including heat-shrink, that come in plug-in cassettes; and normal Brother high quality (a little pricey but not too excessive). They slight gripe is that the loading of the label cassettes it is slightly fiddly as the printer becomes slightly unstable when opened, but I would still definitely recommend it. A well thought out system.
