      My existing printer (Epson XP610), which has now completely stopped working, had a CD tray which was inserted when needed - and software instructions to suit - does this machine have the same facility?

I am sorry the printer will only print onto Media Sizes Supported: A4, A5, B5, LTR, LGL, Photo Sizes (89 x 89mm, 4 x 4", 4 x 6", 5 x 5", 5 x 7", 7 x 10", 8 x 10"), DL Envelope, COM10 Envelope, Custom Size (Width: 55 - 215.9mm x Length: 89 - 676mm) Paper. No to CD. It is a specialised printer that can do this.

      • According to Canon specs - https://store.canon.co.uk/canon-pixma-ts705-inkjet-printer/3109C008 it does allow CD/DVD printing so possibly need to double check your specs. Should have a thin tray attached underneath one of the paper traps that you slide on/off.

      • The pack contains Set-up Ink Cartridges K (750 Pages) C (259 Pages) M (223 Pages) Y (259 Pages) - you get 4 inks to set up the printer it is worth buying a pack of inks to use after the starter cartridges are removed. Starter Cartridge have minimal amount of ink in them.

      The specifications for some printers give a paper weight which they can use, but surely it's really about thickness. Labels are very different - apples vs pears really.
      Surely most modern printers take labels?

    Good basic colour inkjet printer with Apple AirPrint capability

    This was delivered quickly. Great printer but was supplied only with a 2-pin (EU) mains cable. Great if you want to print in your bathroom using the shaver socket :-P

    COMPACT AND REASONABLY PRICES

    Really pleased, fitted in the small space I had, good, clear printing and not too noisy, easy to set up wired, can't comment on wireless as not using that format as yet, would recommend, i do not do a lot of printing so again cannot comment on how long the inks will last.
